I went to visit Dr Kalikow because my old dentist messed up a root canal. from the minute i walked in i felt at ease, Dr Kalikow is great, he listens and gives straight forward honest answers that you understand. it was unfortunate he could not save my tooth, but without doubt it was worth the 1 hour drive and i would definately go there again.
I had my first root canal done by Dr. Kalikow today. I am 25 and a huge baby when it comes to needles and work done on my mouth. Dr Kalikow and his staff made me feel much better. He is obviously very educated and knowledgeable. The staff at his office put my worries at ease and made the procedure as comfortable as possible. He is very gentle, and I had virtually no pain. He was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. He put my fears at ease and made me understand everything that was going on. I would recommend him to people looking for a nice, honest endodontist.
DR. Kalikow is a very likeable endodontist. He is always interested in how my comfort level is.Always asking if I am haveing any discomfort dureing procedures. I feel at ease when I am referred to him. Staff is also great!
I have had two root canals done by Dr. Kalikow and would recommend him to anyone I know. He provided a very relaxed atmosphere and kept me informed while the whole process was going on. He's very concerned with patient comfort, and I experienced very little discomfort on either occasion. I did not have insurance coverage, but he gave me a discount to the rate that is normally billed to insurance companies.
Dr. Kalikow became my endodontist probably fifteen years ago. He does an AMAZING job of completing your root canal in ONE visit (even a couple of my molars that were really tough ones - for him). His local anesthesia method is extremely proactive and I have never had a problem with discomfort during the procedure. I have genetically "soft" teeth and have had six molars root canaled by Dr. Kalikow.
