Technician damaged the vein during the procedure. Requested a butterfly when doing the venipuncture, however this was not done and instead she caused considerable discomfort and bruising afterward.
I went to the Kaleida blood draw clinic on 1150 Youngs and was serviced by Skylar. She was absolutely fantastic! As a person who is a difficult stick, she was a pro and got me on first try. She was pleasant and efficient. I was in and out quickly.
went yesterday morning (10/7) for preadmission blood work and wish I was sent elsewhere. The phlebotomist got into vein right away (just tip of needle went in) but was busy holding onto the flexible tube and drawing blood then she was on the needle. needle was barely in the skin and was constantly moving side to side, the vein ended up blowing. Just wanted to Thank the ladies at the lab today 8/30. I came in pretty close to closing ( 2:40 pm) today, with the wrong script. They quickly found it and helped me, they were nice, quick and compassionate. Was feeling awful today, so it was nice they took the time to help me. Thank You!
This doesn't resemble a health care facility. It's a single basement like room that doesn't even have a reception desk or permanent signage.
