Dr. Dittmeyer and I have been through a lot together. When pathology confirmed that I had adenocarcinoma in SITU, he was scared with me. He personally called me to talk over the plan with me. After surgery, the next step was to continue to try and have one more baby. He attempted IUI 4 times, but my body would not take it. Dr. Dittmeyer is a phenomenal doctor! I originally started my pregnancy off as a patient at Creekside, where I had been going for 15 years, but when I was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolisms at 13 weeks, I was referred to a high risk doctor and after researching who worked most closely with the high risk doctor, I made the choice to switch to Dr. Dittmeyer at Mercy. Dr. Dittmeyer is wonderful. He's easy to talk to, answers all your questions, and puts you at ease. His nurses are also kind, and they don't rush and act like you have to be in and out in 10 min. Dr. Dittmeyer performed a surgery for me and came to talk to me and see if I had any wuestions about 30 min before surgery. Highly recommend him for any of your OB/Gyn needs.
