I made an appointment for a week out. A week later, 30 minutes before I'm supposed to be there, she calls to tell me she has to zcancel because her grown son's dog must be put down. I was livid, so I hung up. She texted me an hour and a half later saying, “You can come later.” What??? If I could come later, why didn't you say, “I need to reschedule,” not cancel? I’m so confused. I waited a whole week for an appointment just for this shenanigans—better luck to the next person.

I visited this place 2 days back for a fresh haircut, my hair is very frizzy and fine, I was not certain if the one i had in mind would look good. Makala told me as soon as she started my shampooing that she wl make sure I love my hair before I leave and thats what happened. She added in her own recommendation to the cut and it looked super cute, she also suggested shampoo n conditioner and styling methods for my hair. I loved what she did. Will go back.

Let me start by saying in the 12+ years & multiple stylists that I've been getting highlights from, I have never complained. I'm new to the area & booked an appointment 1 month in advance for a full head of highlights. When I arrived for my appointment, Kala was juggling 3 other clients at the same time. She did an extremely sloppy job & sent me home. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home & got a good look at it.
