Just read about the unfortunate incident at the recent Father/Daughter dance. I believe that you erred in not allowing this Mom and her daughter to attend, as they were obviously given incorrect information when they attempted to verify the policy. To break that little girl's heart like that is unforgivable. I see that you are funded by the WK Kellogg Foundation. I am amazed that the fine people there are OK with the pathetic way you handled this miscommunication.
Your organization, in its zeal to enforce the "rules", has violated the very spirit of what you're supposed to be about. Shame!
To make a little girl feel that way is unspeakable . You should have never sold her the tickets number one, she asked if it was okay and was told yes, and no where did it state only men . You should have looked at the situation at that moment and acted differently instead of hurting a little girl.

My Daughter and her FATHER has been going to the FATHER/Daughter dance for the last 3 years and they really enjoy it!! We can't wait for the 2018 FATHER/Daughter dance!!
