Aint No Starbucks – The reviewers who have posted previously should go back in! They must've gotten rid of the bad seeds there, because I've received service from pretty much every barista there at any given time of day and it has always been great. If you want Starbucks fake, frickin' go to Starbucks. This is a no-bullshit staff. They aren't a bunch of bimbos forced to smile by management. Won't find better coffee than this – I'm a serious coffee drinker (and home coffee roaster) and in my opinion NOBODY beats kaladi for coffee taste. Like some people who've written, I've had a grumpy service experience or three (usually in the afternoon) but nine out of ten times the staff is pleasant (if not cheerful), chatty, and full of really excellent coffee knowledge. Welcome to the Coffe Reich – I tried Kaladi Bros again yesterday for the third time with the same unfortunate result. When you walk in you think this place could be great. Lots of individualistic touches in the decor, interesting art, books available for reading, etc. You can see their Sivitz roaster through a glass behind the serving area. Best Brew In Town – I love the coffee here; not a great place if you're looking to get a cup and hang out, but for the coffee alone it is by far the best.
Don't bother, the staff sure won't. – I am glad to read that other people have had the same bad service that I have because I was becoming paranoid that it was just me. I live down the street and have been trying to go there off and on for years. Excellent coffee, so-so service – Kaladi's has the best coffee and espresso in town, but it's a bit grungy on the inside and the staff acts like you're interrupting their conversation when you come in. It also seems that they try to make you feel as unwelcome as possible in the hour before they close, as they start sweeping the whole place and putting up the chairs 30 mins BEFORE they're actually closed. Stay away - try the other coffee shops that are trying hard to make good coffee and provide good service. – The atmosphere is dirty and unkind here. The staff seem to have more important things to do than attend to customers, or answer questions. Not recommended - avoid – I can't recommend this coffee shop - too rude. If you dare try it, don't bring a coupon - they may berate you for trying to use it! If you like snobs and phony attitude, try this place!
Worst coffee shop in Denver. Very rude clerks. Maybe the best coffee in Denver, but stay away from the crazy staff.
