I've lived in the same co-op in Prospect Heights for 25 years. In this time our building has been led by four different management companies, all of them with their strengths and weaknesses. Steven Baker does a fantastic job managing our condo building and is responsible for completing many capital improvement and repair projects. He has access to quality contractors and makes sure that we get the best price and value for what needs to be done. He occasionally stops by after work to help with minor repairs, and it's easy to see how much he cares about our building. Steven Baker is the best property mgt professional I've ever rented with. I've been in NYC for fifteen years across five properties and Steven has two big differences. (1) He cares about the building. He's not just fixing things, he's trying to optimize. Can we get new boilers? Does it help the tenants? Does it help costs? Kaito has been a wonderful management company during my tenancy. They're very responsive to inquiries and as a three year resident if there were any issues with the apartment, they resolved them quickly; for example, my oven stopped working and a day later I had a brand new top of the line appliance. Their online payment and inquiry system makes it easy to communicate with the team and there's always coverage. Highly recommend any buildings they manage, they will go out of their way to make your living experience positive.

I have been a tenant of Kaito Managements since 2011. I have to say that they have always acted professionally to me and my roommates. Their responses were always timely, communication always clear and they were always pleasant to deal with. I cannot say enough about them and am looking forward to renting from one of their new Development Projects in Park Slope. I’d especially like to thank Steven for always being helpful whenever an issue came up that we needed help with.
