I would give ZERO stars for the Kaiser rental. Don’t get me wrong our view of the beach was great. Unsatisfied with customer service. We stayed for a week for the 4th of July and the air conditioning broke mid stay. How would you to stay in a vacation rental in July with no air conditioning??!!! A/C tech told us the unit needed to be replaced, but he could turn the fan on to move air around. Kaiser is not offering even I’m sorry for the situation. Check in was easy and an hour early. Plenty of room. Very short walk to beach. Every thing was very clean. Would definitely stay here again
It's unfortunate that this company feels that they are above disclosing fees required by law before booking. At the time of booking, we reviewed both the VRBO listing and the rental agreement in detail. The listing clearly indicated that events are allowed, but it did not mention any additional event fee. The rental agreement they sent AFTER booking states that “Weddings and Events are allowed at select properties. Additional fees apply. Contact our Reservations Department to inquire about fees and availability.” However, no... read more
We stayed at The Cottages for 10 days. We were in Orange Beach for our son's wedding. It was a great place to stay - comfortable, quiet, and pretty. The walk around the pool was a great way to relax after busy days with the wedding events. Our family plans on returning and staying at The Cottages, but this time for it to be a beach adventure.
They don't list on their VRBO property pages that the booking fee is NOT refundable. At 3% of the rental fee, this could set you back hundreds of dollars even in the "free cancellation" window. The VRBO screenshot below says you get a full refund, but does not mention this non-refundable booking fee. This is a very deceptive business practice. Beware!
