I am very dissatisfied with my visit today. My appointment was at 10:45 AM, and after being brought in for an EKG, I was told at 10:57 AM that the office was running one hour behind. No one informed me ahead of time. I drove from Kapolei to the Waipio Kaiser office and have three children to pick up at 12 PM, so waiting an additional hour was not possible. I called the call center, finally got through to advice, they sent a msg to Dr. While I was checking on my sick child I missed the MA’s call. Kaiser has made it so there is no way to directly call the dr or clinic. I had to call the call center again, go through the wait time and there was no instructions on who to go to when you are returning a call from your doctors office. Had to wait hours for a call back. Most horrible experience at the lab. Been with Kaiser for many years and never had a bad experience. Grace at the lab check in was rude and unprofessional. I get that they are busy but that is no excuse. The actual lab tech was very friendly and fast.
Their sonographer denied crucial medical care that was specifically instructed by primary doctor to be performed. She stated that due to her religious beliefs, her patients need to be sexually active with a man in order to receive treatment. She said "Your first time needs to be with a special man in your life". WORD FOR WORD WHAT SHE SAID. Absolutely insane! This is medical negligence and discrimination. Don't even bother coming here. Disgusting and completely unprofessional.
