The appointment felt very rushed. The doctor didn’t take me seriously as a patient. I’m Type 1 diabetic, and she had looked at my blood glucose ahead of the appointment and said everything looked “great.” I shared some instances where I’ve noticed that stress makes it very hard to manage my blood sugar. Rather than going and looking at my charts with me and talking through the scenarios, she told me to do “box breathing” and dismissed my concern. Becky was very thorough in her approach to my condition. She asked good questions and provided good answers to my questions. The resulting PT exercises should help. Very pleased with her approach and the time she spent understanding the situation.
Very smooth and rapid to check in. PA was friendly and efficient. Dr. Casey Kirkhart was best doc I've had in a long time. Knowlegeable, thorough, and most importantly caring and friendly. This is the best physician interaction I've had at Kaiser all these years, though I've had other great MD's as well.
My physical therapist was kind, attentive and highly skilled, but Kaiser is only booking me to see her once every three weeks, which is not how good physical therapy is done. It should be 1-3 times per week, depending on the condition.
