The Best convlescent care facility in my experience – I just happened upon the previous negative review and have to put in my 2 cents... On 12/312005 I fell on my kitchen floor and broke my hip, after surgery and a little over a week at Kaiser Oakland I was place in the Kaiser Permanente Post Acute Care facility in San Leandro. Having observed the horrible , neglectful and cruel care received by my grandfather in one "fancy" care home and in later years inadiquate care my mother received on two incidents in two different car... read more
A Sorry Excuse for Care – This is the worst place anyone can ever send a loved one. My father was sent there for recovery from a knee injury. The whole facility reminds me of an old hospital out of the 1960's and I believe they still have the same curtains from that hospital. The trash within the rooms were overflowing with garbage and one of the nurses yelled at a resident, telling him, "No one is going to help you. Shut up."
