Nurses are mean and people pay a lot of money for membership and the horrible service they get is unacceptable. Both my grandparents were admitted and they both said the same thing. If your a nurse show kindness. These people pay for you to have a job. I definitely would not recommend Kaiser to anyone.

Recommend? Both yes and no. During my pregnancy I had the most amazing doctor and midwife, but during labor I had doctors/midwives that I did not know and they were not listening to me. It took a lot of tries to get the nurses attention, and I ended up having lots of complications due to the nurses and staff not listening to me when I told them something was wrong. A big hospital like this Kaiser should be able to have the doctors that treat their patients during a pregnancy, be the doctors during labor as well - for the com... read more

Is Kaiser Permanente following a policy of not performing resuscitation on Covid patients? We have a friend of the family in her early 30s in an induced come due to Covid complications. Family was told by docs that they will not resuscitate Covid pts. Is this policy widely known? Are patients families being given the opportunity to revoke this policy for their loved ones? What is the person does not have a DNR. Our friend is early 30s seems like a worthwhile candidate for doctors to take extraordinary measures. She’s not jus... read more

The doctors and nurses may be “heroes“ but the people who schedule the appointments should go through a stricter protocol and better training. They seem to be completely unaware of when appointments need to be made, when people need to arrive, and when their doctors and nurses arrive. It took two weeks to schedule a vasectomy which should’ve been done after the baby was born and then was told to arrive an hour early. But the doctors and nurses didn’t arrive until 815 even though the appointment was made for 830 and my daught... read more

Showed up this morning with shortness of breath and Covid symptoms. The ER sent me to my car to wait. I've been waiting in my car for 3 1/2 going on 4 hours. The wait time and service here is horrible!!!
