I've had 84 chemos in my life. After doing all that my body really hurts but this department refuses to treat me. So don't be fooled by their niceness because when you're done they're going to give you a swift boot out the door. I've gone through a couple oncologists and a doctor that is unwilling to treat me in post chemo. My cancer never goes away. I continue to live with it. I am thinking about canceling Kaiser and going with something else.
I am a cancer patient with NHL. The care I have received at Kaiser Roseville’s oncology center has been amazing from my nurse navigator, to my oncologists, to the infusion team and all the supporting staff on duty during my treatments. Their expertise, kindness and compassion has been greatly appreciated during a time of great turmoil fir me. They have made this journey so much more bearable than it could have been. I am a cancer patient and though most of my teams have been caring and kind there are conflicting instructions. There are cruelties due to ignorance and fears. I am certain that there are other situations, but I have known many with the same complaints about Kaiser specifically. Side effects and treatments I think really need to be assessed individually. I've been trying to make it oncology appointment for a couple weeks now but apparently cancer isn't that important to them and I've just been getting pushed off so try your luck at UC Davis they're probably going to be a lot more helpful and care about your problems because Lord knows this place doesn't, or thay have not been displaying care about and oncology problems
