I was seen for an ADHD evaluation. The receptionist dismissively asked me “so what do you want, medication?” Because of this, I was concerned I’d be labeled as drug seeking from the start. I then had 3 10 minute telephone calls: first for triage, then asking for a checklist of symptoms (most of which I said yes to), and finally with Nancy Solano, a psychologist. I agree with all these reviews--Fremont psych. is horrible--filled with MDs who gaslight and talk down to you like you aren't capable and competent. I struggle with depression and anxiety and over the past 30 years have had a prescription for antianxiety meds that I take occasionally (approx. 4--7 a month) and have helped me through the rough patches. For months I've been battling with Dr. Priya Asthana to get referred out for a p evaluation they refuse to provide. What's the point of psych care if you don't provide evaluations?

Previously had TMS here a couple years ago. Nursing staff completed risk assessment with me during each session. I endorsed suicidal thoughts every time and they provided no interventions. I ultimately made an attempt on my life and reported it to nursing staff during a follow-up appt. I was placed on a 72 hour hold. I was really upset and called my mom and was talking very loudly on my phone. Kaiser had an aggressive security guard come in and threaten to take my phone, so I lowered my voice.
