Not very good service I would never reccomend going to the emergency room in Kaiser to anyone. I mean, yes, they have really great service when it's for a normal checkup, but in the emergency room they keep people waiting forever!! There were people with crying babies who had serious pain and older patients who needed immediate care. When we complained they said it was due to "understaffing". But I don't get it. Kaiser Permanente Health Care, Womens Health This facility for Kaiser is huge. The womens health department is located on the first level not far from the entrance. Check in is efficient and fast. The wait time for an on-time appointment is about 5-10 minutes. I found all of the staff to be very friendly. The physician was friendly. I got the feeling that appointments are timed and meant to be short. Patients may not see the same physician for all appointments unless they request to do so. caring and through I had my first baby at Vallejo Kaiser, and all my prenatal visits as well. I saw many different doctors, and was happy with my total experience. They did a nice job of explaining things to me, the preperation classes were helpfull too. My pregnancy was officially 'high risk', but I never worried because everyone who cared for me was calm, and prepared, and made me comfortable.
KaIsEr!!! My old place to go when i needed shots or check-up...5 star because they can save lives. It is a pretty good place to go and the staff is pretty good...yeah. It is a pretty good place!
Good service They are reletively prompt on appointments. the wait int he waithing room for my is about 10-15 minutes the which isn't bad. THe only trouble at times is getting that appointment. they are not a large facility and don't offer a lot of appointment. So book early if you can.
Breast Reconstruction I interviewed four Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Smith listened to my concerns and understood my overall goal. I had a left only mastectomy and had expanders, and implants placed in both breasts. We are not completely finished, but I feel I am in the most capable hands I could find. Note to people considering reconstruction- involve your Plastic Surgeon before your initial Mastectomy or Lumpectomy - it matters.
The ''hospital'' in hospitality I have been coming to kaiser for years now and every location it is the same warm feeling, comfort and the sense that the staff knows what they are doing.
Be careful! Just another HMO, highly specialized in protecting their own interest ( and money). If you can afford some other insurance, do yourself a favor and save yourself trouble and money. Their marketing is oriented on attracting young and healthy people, little do they care about those who need more care and tests. An example how a good idea dies because of a few greedy people.
just ok I have been a member of kaiser for 4 years and go to the fremont and oakland facilities. Fremont is less crowded than oakland and the doctors are very professional. In general, expect to wait for everything. However, everything is connected by computer, so you can go to your doctor, who sends your rx to the lab via intranet. Then you can just pick it up without dropping off your rx yourself first.
