Highly recommend! Dr. McMurtrey is an awesome doctor. Not only is she professional, she is also very personable. She has been the best personal physician I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. McMurtrey.

People say they Hate Kaiser, but you have to know the tricks Kaiser is a HMO Hospital w/emergency room, opthomology and every other specialezed field that there is. They even have birthing rooms in some of their facilities. What you have to do is find an internist that you like, even if you have to go thru 20 of them. Once you have a regular Doctor, they get to know you and will work with you. You won't have to go over things with them that they have been treating you for. You work the HMO and it is great. I love Group Health Group Health is fantastic. I love that I can make appointments and order pharmacy refills online. They even mail my medications to me without shipping costs. My doctor is fabulous. I found one from Group Heath's large panel who shares my passion for running. He has been great and is always willing to reply to my emails about various aches and pains from over training. If he feels he needs to see me, we make an appointment. Group Health I was not happy with my group health service at all. It's bad enough that they choose your doctor for you, but I often had horrible doctors. I even had a doctor that did not put his gloves on to examine me. The doctors are not very helpful, every time I had a problem and had to go see a doctor, I think on average the doctor would spend 2 minutes with me. I would not recommend Group Health.

caring and through I had my first baby at Vallejo Kaiser, and all my prenatal visits as well. I saw many different doctors, and was happy with my total experience. They did a nice job of explaining things to me, the preperation classes were helpfull too. My pregnancy was officially 'high risk', but I never worried because everyone who cared for me was calm, and prepared, and made me comfortable.

Average to poor care and service My experience at Kaiser has really varied depending on the physician I am seeing and the location. Oakland has always been rather dismal. I have had physicians give me incorrect advice, and I usually get lost somewhere in the cavernous buildings just trying to find my appointment.

I Love My Kaiser I love my Kaiser! All of my Doctors are attentive and caring. The online services are exceptional! I get advice, message my Doctors, order meds and review lab results all online. All of my experiences at Kaiser have been satisfactory from the labs to surgery.

Not a fan at all Not a very big fan of Kaiser or the HMO system. It takes so long to get in. There IS a wait and times you CAN'T see the doctor. You see a nurse. If you're healthy, fine. If you have chronic illness or in dire pain--- too bad! THAT is my and my family's experience.

World Class Medical I am a big fan of Kaiser. It is really structured and no fuss no muss. They have all their doctors and every department under on roof. You check in with you file see your doctor and check out at the cashiers. It is great when you do not get a millions bills from a million different doctors and labs. I can not say enough great things about these guys. Wonderful and professional. Just TOPS!
