I came in for a leg wound infection from a dirt bike accident and required surgery. It was my first time staying overnight at a hospital (5 nights in total), and this was an eye-opening experience to say the least. The amount of chaos these doctors and nurses deal with on a daily basis is truly mind-blowing. I was a Kaiser patient for a long time. the doctors and the staff member are very unfriendly and unclean in Modesto, Ca they treat people like you going to a car wash it seems no one know what's going on
I used to work here as a new hire, and was terminated for my Ukrainian-American heritage. Some folks found fun in always going behind my back and ratting on me to the manager simply because of who I am (reasons that any new hire could work on and I was progressing). As an inclusive company which Kaiser is supposed to be and what’s going on in the world I feel ashamed to have worked there. The manager and others were highly supportive of me though.
The Kaiser Elk Grove CA Big Horn facility has a serious entry barrier deficiency. The Half Moon Shaped Island between the parking lot and main entrances lacks 3 ramps for handicap egress. Someone in a wheelchair, walker or scooter could suffer a bad fall attempting to return to the parking lot.
This location has very friendly and professional staff. I’ve been coming to this location for about 8 months now and it’s always a pleasant experience. Marlow Heights is my home for my care.
My diagnosis of an aggressive cancer was ignored by the oncologist at Palm Desert. No follow up from dr or staff. Myself, family & friends are appalled at the neglect. I wait weeks for treatment for my condition - no urgency on part of medical staff. Do not choose Kaiser So Cal if you have serious disease. My family is heart/broken by their behavior.
The receptionist for the Gyno/OBG office was rude. Ask a question and got no response other than a long stare and a head nod. Not very welcoming. I will stick to going to my original kaiser permanente office, only had to go here because I needed to see my doctor sooner.
