I’m extremely disappointed with the level of care and urgency we experienced at the Kaiser Permanente Emergency Room in Modesto. My partner arrived with a profusely bleeding hand injury — to the point where blood was dripping on the floor. While he was triaged early on, we were then left waiting in the waiting room for over two hours, followed by another hour and a half in an exam room, with no meaningful treatment or follow-up during that time. If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to the Kaiser Modesto ER with a bleeding hand that hadn’t stopped for over 7 hours. I sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hours actively bleeding through paper towels with no help. Once I was finally put in a room, I was left completely unattended for hours—no vitals, no wound care, nothing. Staff outside my door were gossiping, complaining about their jobs, and even online shopping while I sat bleeding and lightheaded. Kaiser ER used to be really good! Seems like they got all new staff and don't care how long you wait. Or care if your child is coughing her head off. So I guess everyone can get sick! Like wow! So I guess wait time is roughly 8-9 hours. And NEVER got a mouth swab. We walked out... The yelp reviews for Kaiser now are ridiculously low... I can see why .. I guess people complain less on here. LOL. Beware. Go and at your own risk! They need to fire the whole staff and start over!!!!
So yesterday I had to go to emergency department. The staff, and Doctors were absolutely amazing. But the other stuff was NOT. First of all, NOT enough staff to cover the overwhelming amount of patients. Secondly, they took me in, then I got a CT scan, was sent back to over populated waiting room to wait for my results which probably took another hour, then to be called into a room along with other sick patients waiting for the Dr to go over my results, there was NO privacy at all.
