Yep, to follow up on what happened. I came in working night shifts, drinking coffee, bad diet, etc. with chronic depression. She potentially misdiagnosed it as depression when it was potentiallly a Bipolar 1 depression exacerbated by life style. The reason she did this, is lack of prudence and bad focused patient interview skills. She did not do a focused interview and did not ask probing questions. my 'Harvard-trained, Board-certified Adult Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, socioculturally informed, and personalized mental health care, including psychotherapy and medication management' started me on 10 mg then upped to 20 mg and did not warn about me mania or how to taper off or to watch behavior..
