I had a really great experience with James for sports massage therapy! He clearly has an excellent understanding of anatomy and the body, and he was able to identify and work on the areas that needed the most attention. You can truly tell that he knows what he’s doing and is very knowledgeable about the body and how it moves. My wife and I have gone to various other massage places and she said she thought I needed something a little more specialized. She found James and booked me an appointment. This was the best massage I have ever received. I don't even know that I would call it a massage, it was more like treatment from a professional. Typically massages are too light even when I has for deep massages. In the cases where people actually apply more pressure, I end up leaving feeling bruised. This was the first massage I have gotten in my life, and it exceeded my expectations! He was very welcoming and friendly, and the space was a nice, clean studio. I have been dealing with knots in my shoulder blade, leading to limited neck mobility and shooting pain, and I left the studio pain free. I'm also extremely ticklish and he communicated with me through the session to ensure I was comfortable and feeling relief, rather than being tickled. Highly recommend!

I stopped booking with other massage therapists after I found James. If you’re an active person and have very specific needs for your recovery and/or performance, James is it. His massages not only feel great in the moment but days afterwards too!
