Stay clear! Use OCB instead. Damaged my mothers retina, talked her into and unnecessary surgery that had to be paid out of pocket instead of the one covered by insurance (we were told after by the dr repairing her eye she didn’t need it), scratched her cornea. 4 months recovering from a cataract surgery that should have been 2 weeks. At the very least get a second opinion!
I went to this eye center simple because it was in town and they took my ins. Somehow, I still had to pay a fee. The office was completely empty, yet my appt started late. The receptionist was on her cell / phone the entire time I was in the office waiting, clearly attending to personal matters. I didn’t request a specific Dr, but I didn’t realize this huge office was only open ONE day a week, and unable to assist otherwise, even though they have 3 locations. We see Dr. Gray and she does an amazing job with my son whom is on the spectrum. She is kind, patient, and rephrases questions when my son gets confused. She makes my job as an ASD mom a little easier. 🫶
When your appointment is scheduled for 8am - the place is dark until 8:01am - your greeted by two ladies who cant be bothered to look up to say good morning - just a "take a seat" - I asked what time the doctor gets in because my appointment was at 8am - was told he gets in at 9:30 ! - was told that a tech would dialate my eyes once she gets in ( I assume 9am) and I should be out of here by 9:40am. SO they expect me to wait an hour and a half for a ten minute appointment - I think not. My time is precious - and another thing... read more
Left a message, never received a reply. Called a week later, they put me on hold for three minutes then hung up. Don’t waste your time.
