The front desk staff was unhelpful. Insisted I must see a provider who was no longer active with my insurance and wouldn’t listen when told otherwise. They stated they didn’t get my referral when I have a fax transaction report showing they did. I was told my doctor must send the referral directly when that’s not how my insurance has worked in the 18 years I have had them. I also did not have this issue when I was seen 1 year ago. After recent admission to St.Charles,I have never been where everyone on staff was so compassionate and caring. From the moment that Dr. Dhillon had me sent to ER,and then admission,everyone was top notch. I am a nusre with forty years of experience,and I am beyond wowed. I have two pages written front and back of concerns. 1. Medicines were not always dispensed on time. 2. The staff took 45 minutes up to an hour and a half to answer call lights. 3. The bedding wasn’t changed properly. Sat in blood for a few days. 4. I was offered twice in a 9 day stay to help me wash up. 5. Yesterday, I went to the ER/D for a CT. I was there for 8 hours. They gave me a CD with the results. The results were for an MRI on a patient that was done 27 years ago. I went back, today to get the right record. They burned another copy or yesterday's mistake. My dog's vet gives better service.

Well, procedure schedule here by our doctor. We had a procedure scheduled for noon on a certain day. They call us that morning at 8:00 and tell us to show up at 11:00 if we could. So rushed got dressed and headed out the door. Normally takes us about an hour to get here from home. So we got here at 10:45. Checked in did everything we're supposed to do. Dr. Calcagno is amazing! He truly listens and takes his time with his patients. He made me feel comfortable, heard, and never rushed during my visit. It’s rare to find a doctor who is both professional and genuinely caring. I’m beyond grateful to have him as my PCP. Highly recommend!

We have seen many orthopedic doctors at children’s and Dr. McCoy is by far the worst we have ever seen. She brushed off every concern and was very cold and did not engage at all. I’m not sure how she is a doctor for children.

I was bone on bone in the wrist. I did a lot of research and by far Dr. Darbandi was one of the best in the nation. He did a complex surgery wrist surgery called a Proximal Row Carpectomy. I am pretty much fixed based on what he had to deal with. If I could give him six stars I would. Thanks Dr. Darbandi.
