Staying at the Best Western Kachina Lodge was one of the most pleasurable times I have EVER had on a vacation. Where do I start, Arriving their the Hotel was Older and Very distinguished looking, very quaint, very very nice, and I immediately fell in love with it. The front desk clerks were extremely courteous and it felt like meeting an old friend. They went out of their way to pamper us. After check in, we went to our room. Very nice and spacious. I cannot describe the rooms except by saying that this is a 5 star hotel, Lu... read more

We just had a week long meeting at the Kachina Lodge for a group of about 18 people. The facilities have a lot of character, and the grounds are really nice. All the staff were very helpful and took care of our group and any quirky demands that we produced. The breakfasts were hearty. Some of the facilities are a bit dated, but that adds to the charisma of the place. It seems like a great place to relax and walk to the plaza and around.... too bad we had a work agenda to stick to! We held a similar meeting here about 6 years... read more

We just returned from a ski trip in Taos. This was our second stay at the Kachina Lodge and we had a wonderful stay. I love the spaciousness of the rooms. You get a free sit down full breakfast daily at the coffee shop, great french toast and pancakes with such friendly service from Ramona. In the evening after 5pm you get a free cocktail. After a full day of skiing we would relax in the jacuzzi. This is where we will definately stay the next time we're in Taos, what a great deal.....

Me my wife and children had to return home to bury my mother. Very difficult time for us all. My mother Winifred passed on March 15, 2010. We stayed at the Best Western Kachina Lodge and had a very pleasant stay considering the circumstances. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, rooms very large and kept clean. Buffets were very satisfying. After the funeral we did alittle hiking, etc. I give this hotel an A

Just ended a three night stay at Kachina Lodge in Taos and we'll be going back there. Staff was friendly, it's close to all the shopping and restaurants in Taos and only 30min drive to skiing. Michaels diner across the street is another alternative. Manager let us check out a day early due to blizzard moving into area. Front desk personel were friendly and maid was friendly - gave us extra towels/shampoo. Had a nice time at Kachina and look forward to our next trip to Taos.

We stayed at the Best Western in Taos on a recent trip through New Mexico. The room was very large and neat. We loved the pink tiles in the bathroom and adjoining dressing room. The sleeping area was huge with a table and chairs. The dressing room area included a bench for luggage and rack for hanging. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We especially liked the fact that we could park right outside our door which was only a few steps away. Hate those hotels where you have to handle all your luggage through an oute... read more

I came with 19 people, occupying 14 rooms among us. This is the FIRST time I have taken a group to a hotel where there wasn't at least one or more people who would complain. Everyone LOVED this hotel, Loved the nightly free wine in the lounge, had a great time with the indian dances at night, and we all liked our rooms very much. The desk staff couldn't have been more attentive. One lady got quite ill (having come there with a pre-existing condition) and the hotel took her to the hospital and later, on a different day, to a ... read more
