I visited this location with my friend after a local’s recommendation to try this restaurant had a Japanese owner. We decided to do the 8 course omakase since we wanted to try their seasonal dishes. The sashimi and nigiri were very fresh and paired nicely with the garnish. Every dish was very good. The service was very welcoming and accommodated us very well. Only note was that the sake we chose was a good palate cleanser for each dish but did not pair well with the food. It might had been better if we chose a different one.... read more

I’ve been coming here for about 9 years. The best Sushi restaurant in San Francisco and possibly my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is exquisite and the service is stellar. I highly recommend their tasting menu.
My girlfriend and I recently had dinner at Kabuto on Geary Street, and it was hands down one of the best dining experiences we've had in the city.
