We only go to Kabuto's maybe 4 or 5 times a year because of so many places to eat on this end of town. We are just now leaving restaurant and Chef Arod and our waitress Tracy just like every time before eating here was great! Food and service was great, go eat here and enjoy!

I tried the chicken teriyaki and fried rice. Neither were good. The all dark meat chicken was overly salty and very greasy. The fried rice had a weird sweet taste and was also greasy. I also tried the tempura shrimp and veggies, those were pretty good, also on the greasy side, but they are, after all, fried.

Worst Japanese steakhouse experience ever!!! I've been visiting japanese steakhouses for a while and honestly say this place is by far the worse. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we felt like being intruders. The atmosphere is very cold and unwelcoming.I must say everything in the menu is overpriced and you have to pay extra if you share your food. The steak was bad. Coupons – On Sunday,02/19/12, while on vacation in Nashville,TN we heard a radio promotion for Kabuto's to PURCHASE 1/2 off dinner coupons for $10.00 a piece. We BOUGHT 4 of them and went to enjoy a nice lunch with friends. We had 2 separate checks and was told we were only allowed to use one coupon per table. Best Japanese – The chefs cook your meal to your liking in front of you. Kabuto has not only beautiful food, but is also very entertaining. There are tables of 8 people, with the chef standing in the middle. They do plenty of tricks. It really is a good night out. It has become my family tradition to have birthday dinners here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Worst Japanese Steak House Meal We've Ever Had – We ate at Kabuto for the second time in six months on March 28, 2010. The first visit was pretty good, but not great, so we decided to give them another chance. We realized that we had the same cook as the first time who was very noisy with lots of banging of the spatula, and loud talking, but not actually very skillful. You threatened to call the Police on our anniversary. – My wife, children, and sister-in-law ate at the Kabuto Japanese Steak House on September 11th 2009 at approximately between 6:50pm-07:35pm. I am serving my third combat tour in Iraq and have not seen my wife in almost a year now. Today on September 11th, it is our third wedding anniversary.
