No doubt about it, this is the best place when it comes to authentic Japanese cousin. You'll not find another place like this. The ambiance is perfect.
They are so wonderful in here. The food is amazing and very fresh tasting. They provide the best Japanese experience in here compared to other restaurants.
i went last night & It was ok,the shrimp crunch roll as good. The only thing i have a small complaint about is the service,i know they get busy but take each patron and treat them great all through the service. i felt rushed.
The worst sushi experience ever – I eat sushi twice a week. This is the worst experience ever. I go to Midori where you can find nice sushi.food came with bland taste and crispy deep fried sushi came cold. miso soup was very bland. it is so unfortunate people they go there and make line to get table some times. It is not special at all.manager came to table and had a bland face not even appologizing for bad food they served us or not even offering menu so we pick something else.
Love their Rolls! – I ordered a roll called the Laker roll.....it like a deep fried california roll..... Delicious! I will go back soon!
Stop... Go somewhere else – I had lunch last Thursday and what a gross experience. I got sushi lunch with salad. When the sushi arrived I noticed on piece of ahi looked different and stupid me I bit into it. Smell, old and made me ill. I told the waitress and she gave it to the manager and I can see him laughing and joking with the sushi staff. He brought the new piece over didn't say a word to me a ran away. GREAT Hollywood Sushi – I came here on a work function and was blown away. Now, in fairness, work PAID for it, so we really went buckwild with our selections, but this means I've actually sampled most of the menu, and everything on here is stellar. They have a wide variety of warm rolls, which I usually don't care for, but they do sushi right at Kabuki, and I would recommend anybody in the area swing through, especially for their happy hour, which is one of the best, period, in LA.
Awful Customer Service! – I apologize in advance for the rant, but I had to say something... When my boyfriend and I were given a gift card to Kabuki, I immediately checked out the menu online as I’d never been to any of their locations before. BEST RESTAURANT! – This place is absolutely amazing! I went for my anniversary and they are a 5 star restaurant! I had a nice waitress and the food was to die for. I wish they were open 24/7 so I could buy their food all the time anytime. I figured a nice place like that would take ten years to get my food but they were quick and it was delicious.
