This hotel restaurant was serving tastiness! For breakfast you must do the Broken Bridge, is was so good. For Dinner, the Cluck and Goat Pizza was prefect. The portions are huge and so fresh. Don’t forget to get a snack at the bar. The spring rolls are crisp and the pickled veggies delicious.
My dining experiences at Ka Lihikai , nestled within the Grand Naniloa Hotel , were nothing short of spectacular . The Lucky Belly Burger with Pork Belly and Kimchi was a flavor explosion , while the Mango Sticky Rice Mocktail offered a delightful twist . And the Carrot Cake ? Simply divine !
Great Food, Beautiful Hilo Bay Views, and a Restaurant Worth Visiting During our stay in Hilo, we had breakfast at Ka Lihikai Restaurant, located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Hilo. Friendly staff, free coffee, good size portions. I had the Kalua turkey hash which was tasty the potatoes was a little hard but good. My friend had the short stack pancakes which were only 2 but fairly big. He said it was good but I guess he’s not a coconut lover and mentioned it was too much. I wouldn’t have mind it. There’s a great view from the restaurant since it’s right next to the beach. It is in the Grand Nani loa Doubletree hotel. Day 2 had the Ube waffles. Very delicious.
Not sure why the stars are so low here. Food was good. Price was reasonable compared to other places in the area. Everyone was very pleasant. We generally prefer to venture out for food but due to a federal holiday and our crunched schedule, decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I’m glad it was far from being disappointing.
