Not sure why the stars are so low here. Food was good. Price was reasonable compared to other places in the area. Everyone was very pleasant. We generally prefer to venture out for food but due to a federal holiday and our crunched schedule, decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I’m glad it was far from being disappointing.
Their bar is outside by the pool. We had a blast! Gavin our bartender so knowledgeable. Kayne our server is sooo friendly. I am hooked on the coconut island martini. Also the top shelf mai tai....secret, it's not on the menu and only a couple bartenders know how to make it. Great views, great drinks, good food. Atmosphere is fantastic.
Everything was amazing at Ka Lihikai restaurant …great ocean views, friendly service, and the food was fabulous!! This is a hidden gem in Hilo. I had the rack of lamb for dinner…tasty! Our group also had the fresh Ono, the steak and Kauai shrimp, the clam chowder is like a curry, and the duck two ways is simply delicious. Stayed at the Naniloa for a quick birthday getaway. Ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant Ka Lihikai. Service was great, drinks never ran dry, and everything we had tasted delightful. My favorite though had to be the Caprese breakfast toast. They use a Ulu (breadfruit) sourdough that I have never tried and could not stop thinking about. I will definitely come back.
