After many failed attempts at finding a trainer that was competent to help me train my problematic dog, I found K9 Tailshakers. The best training facility with the best trainers in the south suburbs and trust me I tried most of them. I put my Odin in the Board and Train run by Ben and within 2 weeks he was a much better dog and with continued training (cause I love it) he has become a very obedient dog. I have kind of a handful of a dog. We adopted her in June and she needs a lot of play time/socialization time. K9 is the place to bring her. She can play all day in a supervised environment and I can have piece of mind while at work. I feel so happy to have a place that loves my dog as much as we do. A place that will give her TLC along with much needed play time.
We boarded our Great Dane, Lucy, here for a few days this summer. She seemed very happy and EXHAUSTED when we picked her up, and the staff filled me in on the details of her stay with them. Leaving her was hard- it's the first time we boarded a dog, and it's a lot like the first time you drop your kids at school. It helps tremendously to know your dog is in good hands that truly will care for her. We will continue to use K9 to board her as needed. I have a dog who is afraid of everyone and they were able to work with him so I could board him to go on vacation
I really have no words other than awesome. I don't trust my babies with just anyone. My dog Duke has some aggression issues and I decided on the 3 week board and train. I loved my dog before and now I love him even more. He is a new little man. We both still have some training to do but he will be a better and more confident dog because of it. Thank you so much for helping Duke become the dog he should be!
Love K9 tailshakers. Rylee loves to go they are so great with the dogs. She gets so excited! Wonderful people. Totally trust them. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
