My basement wall had some hairline cracks, and appeared to be bowed inward slightly, at least one casual inspection. Given that my mom has a similar-age house nearby, that had to have two walls reinforced *twice* because they were slowly caving in, I wanted someone to come inspect it, to see if anything needed to be done.
