Dr Shen performed my husbands complete gastrectomy in April 2020. We were delighted with the results and expertise Dr Shen provided. Extremely thorough! Happy to say my husband is cancer free and has had zero complications.
Dr. Shen and his understudy (student/fellow Nicholas Contreras-Peraza MD) did a great job removing the lower lobe of my husband's lung. We saw Dr. Shen for second opinion. We consulted another thoracic surgeon in Edina, MN prior to but were disappointed with his lack of attentiveness to us. Dr. Shen's bedside manners were SUPERB. He is gentle, and extremely knowledgeable.
