I don’t want to go into details online, I see most of this is covered in other reviews. I just think you should consider how you word your after visit summaries or notes, we are paying to see you for your rheumatology skills and expertise, not to read your blog. Professionalism at all times should be a given. Providing you with a medical history should not be referred to as “rambling.” I haven’t been able to free my mind from this criticism for months. She called me quote “a rambling historian that was difficult to understand”. I also indeed have raynouds and my feet and hands turn white but she dismissed this too saying that they were purple which they change colors due to my autoimmune conditions so it’s possible they can be dark red, blue, purple ect but they do indeed turn white as I do have raynouds. I was a new patient and waited six weeks for an appointment. I had to get a referral sent from my dermatologist and fill out a lengthy new patient packet before I could See the doctor. Unfortunately rushing out the door I forgot my new patient paperwork. I was able to have my husband take a picture and text all over to me. I have been seeing Dr. Lawson for about 2 years for RA and all was well until I one of my blood works came back showing my liver was failing. Dr. Lawson wanted me to stop the medication for a while and get more blood work done to see if it was the medication at that time she also insinuated that she did not want to prescribe me anymore pills, but that I go on injections instead at which point I informed I would prefer to not go on injections and Dr. Lawson stated we would wait on blood work to come back. I was diagnosed with a rheumatoid like condition called PMR. Dr. Lawson spent a lot of time listening and asking questions to Properly diagnose my condition. She gets six stars, very professional.
