My experience with K. Hovnanian Homes has been extremely disappointing. We faced multiple delays: the home was initially promised to be completed by October, then by Thanksgiving, and we only got the keys at the end of the year. The quality of workmanship is subpar. The sod in the yard is uneven, making mowing difficult and unsafe for my kids who have tripped over the bumps. Amazing houses, with all the extras. Just didn’t have any of the floor plans I wanted in the location I wanted.
This builder cares more about your agent than they do you. Wanted to buy a house from them, didn't have a broker, didn't need one. I found this builder on my own, viewed available homes and was ready to make an all cash purchase. However this builder will not credit the broker fees back to the customer, but if I grab a random broker and bring him/her into the deal, the builder will pay that broker 5% of MY money, for doing absolutely nothing!!!
