We built out home with K Hov which was on our own lot and completed in January 2022. Worst decision ever. So many issues with the home. Wrong carpet, site manager said we didn't order a rail along a portion of our stairs but it's in my blue prints.... We were charged for it twice in the end. So much was wrong with our home... And that doesn't even include how they left the land as they said "final grade"..... It was horrible. No way to have a yard when they didn't even spread the top soil. Tail light warranty. We built a house with K Hovnanian that was completed April 2021. This is the 3rd home I've had built. No problems with the other two homes. The absolute worst company you could ever use. Warranties are completely useless. It doesn't matter if it's a flooded basement, whole upstairs flooring creaking, they will not fix anything regardless of warranty. We built a house with K Hovnanian that was completed April 2021. Several major flaws and they refuse to make it right. The whole second floor crackles in the rooms directly below. It's so loud it wakes you up. They refuse to fix this and say it's normal. I had two other builders look at this and both said, this is the worst they've ever heard and the subfloor was put in wrong and needs pulled up and replaced. Cost $6,000.
