I came in really excited for a haircut and style, but I left feeling very sad and disappointed. I have thick, long, curly hair, and it was clear the stylist did not know how to work with my hair type. My hair was dried without using any brushes, leaving it extremely frizzy. I stopped the service because I knew the straightening would not turn out well and asked to only pay for the haircut, but I was still charged for the full haircut package. I tried so many places on Long Island, I finally tried K hair salon and it was a wonderful experience. She knew how to get the haircut I wanted and she put extra effort after the haircut to blow dry, straighten and set my hair. The price was lower compared to other salons for the same haircut I’ve gotten and she didn’t charge extra to set my hair. Other hair salons charge additional money to blow dry. 5/5 experience.

This is the best hairstylist salon in Long Island for me! I told the hairstylist that I wanted to get rid of my damaged hair and make it look more voluminous. She did a great job — I love how she cut and styled my hair. I’m so happy with her work!
