Too Money Hungry I have never brought my pup to this place, but they turned me off when I called. My original call was to verify what shots my pup needed to be allowed in their facility, in addition to getting an idea of how they ran the kennel. I have a human and dog friendly 8month old APBT pup and when I asked how doggy day care works, the girl told me the dogs play together all day and are not caged. Every vacation stay has led to illness. So this summer my dog stayed at K9 for two visits. One week each time. The day after picking her up each time she ended up at the vet due to illness. First a terrible sneezing cold, and now kennel cough. She is coughing and hacking and throwing up. I am very disappointed. This should not be the result of a stay at the "resort". Never again! Our dog was hurt twice at K9 Resorts. The first time, he had to be put under general anesthesia to have 21 stitches (one set in his muscle and the other in his skin). We noticed when we brought him home there were drops of blood falling on the floor. When we questioned the staff, they didn't know what happened, but after asking other employees, they came to the conclusion that he must have tried jumping a fence (?????). Note: His injury was not brought to our attention.
Best Facility Around Everyone at K-9 Resorts is a true dog lover! My dog Pepper is always happy there and knowing she is comfortable allows my family and I to enjoy our vacation even more. Would highly recommend K-9 Resorts.
Just another kennel Resort?????? NO! This place is just another kennel calling itself a hotel for dogs. They try and make you beleive it is different by over charging you for a room with a TV and a bed but it is just like many kennels. I think next time we will stick to a pet sitter so our dogs can stay at home where they are safe and can't get sick or hurt from other dogs.
Recommend I definitely recommend this kennel. K9 Resorts is very clean & run just like a 5-Star hotel. Cage Free rooms are very large and really comfortable for the dogs. 2 thumbs up!
Nothing Comes Close... K-9 Resorts is a gorgeous pet hotel. Nothing else in the area even comes close. You have to go and tour it to see what I??m talking about. You wont believe a place this nice exists for dogs but it does!!!
Happy with Care I have been using K-9 Resorts regularly for the past three years and couldn??t be happier ?? and my very pampered dog would say the same! I am VERY picky about who cares for my dog and when I have to be out of town, be it for business or pleasure, K9 Resorts is the only pet care option I??d choose. K9 Resorts has given me tremendous peace of mind and I would give them the highest of recommendations!
