Had a room and dinner reservation for tonight and tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday, however, this morning, on the day of check in, I recieved a call canceling my two dinner reservations as the restraunts ( Teca and Chop ) are now closed due to low occupancy for the week. I can dine in the bar, is the option presented. I have requested to cancel my room and spa reservations. I am not longer interested in staying in the supposed 5 star JW Marriott that offers no comparable dining options. Hopefully they honor the refund... read more
I have had both one great experience here and one good yet tarnished experience here. Recently, I had a hit and miss experience this weekend. We went to celebrate an anniversary. Upon arriving I noticed gross food was stuck to the tv, which I removed.Two vomit like splatters were next to the bathroom toilet light switch. Beautiful resort that expertly link opulence with the outdoors. Attentive service at all hours and the restaurants are amazing.
Spent the weekend at JW Marriott - and loved every minute of it! The hospitality, the views, the food, the spa, the candlelight concert - everything was PERFECT! I highly recommend ordering the Lamb Pappardelle pasta from TECA (one of their restaurants) - it’s impeccable & I’d drive back to muskoka just so I can order that dish again
This is an amazing resort. 2nd time here and it was amazing. Talk about being treated like royalty. The spa was amazing as well.
