NYPD Investigating Hotel Staff For Criminal Activity – The hotel staff committed grand larceny while I was a guest at the Essex House during early 2009. They stole more than $1,000 USD in currency out of my secured luggage in my locked hotel room during a 2 week stay. Best little Spa! – This hotel is a classic, however the spa on the third floor is a best kept secret. Small, but cozy, the staff was unbelievably pleasant and accomidating. If you get a massage, request Michael, who gave me one of the best spa experiences I have ever had!
