Not sure which J&W I’m critiquing, both the Sorrento Valley and Chula Vista stores were outstanding. Jose at Sorrento Valley and Hector from Chula were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The fencing products were top notch and worked exceptionally well for my applications. See the pictures to get an idea of the gorgeous gates and fences my team built with J&W’s redwood and cedar products. My customer was very appreciative!
I like to recognize those salesman that make companies great. J & W lumber has Eric Johnson, and I would like to recomend to anybody for his personalized attention to his customers. He help me to find the right material for a job repair. It was a one board only, but he help me. like If I where purchasing a hundreds of boards. I feeling valuable customer and respected. Thats why I definitely will come back with him again. "Thank you Eric, God bless you and your company too, to have a respectful and hard workers."
J & W lumber has never let me down yet. And I get to take the warped board for a discounted price when most other places rather just toss them
You couldn't find better service anywhere else! My husband and I, on two separate occasions, went to load a truck-full of wood and one of the gentlemen helped us load over 200 pieces of wood. Also, we noticed one of our more expensive pieces of wood was split after taking it home and they let us exchange it for a different piece. They even offered to check our pergola design to make sure it was safe. And the wood itself is in great condition for a fair price. Would DEFINITELY recommend this place!! :)
