I've found both Dr. Walker and his staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have had both rotator cuffs repaired, zero complaints. I would refer him to anyone.

Had total shoulder replacement surgery after having 2 rotator cuff repairs. I love Dr Walker. He is such a kind & caring guy. He always treats me with kindness & always address my concerns. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family and I have in the past. TKS Dr. Walker and staff. O and I have Medicaid. In the past I have had private insurance. Now that I have Medicaid he is never treated me any different with Medicaid or private insurance. He is great!!!
Dr. Walker and his entire staff are incredible. We went to Dr. Walker for a 2nd opinion after being told by another local surgeon that amputation was the only fix. Dr. Walker explained several different options to us and took the time to make sure we understood all our options. After 6 weeks of treatment/care from Dr. Walker, his team and the awesome occupational therapists with UNC Health Caldwell's therapy team, optimal healing has occurred with no need for amputation. He canceled my surgery when I asked for pain medication. He was unprepared for my first surgery and did a terrible job but I have Medicaid so I was stuck being referred to him for surgery on my other hand. I asked for something for pain and he canceled my surgery 3 days before I was supposed to have it. His office and he will treat you like a junkie if you’re in pain. The amount of scar tissue and the scar he left are also ridiculous, that pic is the site a year later.
