This review is not for Dr. Justin Lo. It's for Dr. Tanzina Khan. Dr Khan is the worst pain management doctor in the Bay Area. She has absolutely no empathy and no plan on how to go about treating a patient. The only plan she has is that, "I can see you in a few weeks and then we will decide what to do after that". It's possible that after a few weeks the patient's health can get worse, but she doesn't care about it. My spine still hurts like hell after treating with Dr Tsang for more than 3+ months following my accident. And just because my radiology reports didn’t show fractures or so, he thought it was fine for me to return to work that involved picking or pulling 20-50lbs.

Dr. Justin Lo managed my sciatica pain which was induced by a disc herniation. He treated my husband for low back pain in the past, so I trusted him with my care. Dr. Lo was very supportive of my desire to avoid surgery until it was absolutely necessary, focusing instead on physical therapy and steroid shots for pain management.
