Mrs. This was the worst experiance I have ever had with a so called doctor!! Took my daughter in for severe headaches that she's been having for a long time and the doc prescribes her medication with side effect of headaches!!!! REALLY!!!! And it took us 3 months to even get in the door!! Cost was 250.00 to tell us absolutely nothing helpful!! She came back in the room with pages from a text book!! I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!
Columbus Women's Group gets an A... Dr. Magnussen, a C- I went to this clinic because since Dr. Murch left, there aren't many female OB/GYN's to choose from. I initially saw Dr. Magnussen but really didn't like her attitude and she left me feeling like she couldn't care less about me or my health. I also didn't feel like she listened to what I had to say. Great Place After surviving brain surgery for a bleeding blood clot, my follow-up exams have been at this clinic. My neurologist is terrific, as are all the people I have encountered there. I suspect you hear negative comments from those who have an axe to grind, but I do not, and I would recommend the clinic to anyone.
Good place to start Service is ok. It's a shame business and money has gotten in the way of good health care. It's a problem anywhere the North Mississippi Medical Center is involved. It's a good place to start and maybe thay can help you.
Wonderfull Experience I lived in Starkville MS when both of my children were born. Everyone thought I was crazy to go all the way to Tupelo. Going to Tupelo to the Womens Hospital was the perfect choice. I was treated very well with both delievers, 2001 and 2005. Even after I left they called checking on me and the baby. I don't plan on having anymore children but if I did I would only go to the Women's Hospital in Tupelo, MS.
Tupelo Neurology Clinic This clinic has given me nothing but problems. I suffer from seizures. This clinic let me see a nurse practioner who says that "her best guess" is that I have epilepsy. Can you believe that. The doctor I saw there was not much help either. Their billing people are very rude and incapable of getting claims turned in correctly. This is the only neurology clinic in the area, which is a big pain. It is located around most of the other medical offices in town, which about the only thing convenient here.
They Really Care We have been going this Urgent care clinic since it opened. That was about 7 years ago. When my daughter was 3 we were in there at least once a week from Jan - Sept until they referred us to LeBonheur and we found out she had Asthma. The clinic is always nice and clean. Usually if they are busy you do have to wait a while before being seen. The doctors and nurses really care about the patients. This clinic has a lab and x-ray also. All of the staff is always friendly and helpful.
