I went to Dr. Justin Welke for concerns that my 3 month old son might have a tongue tie. After a talk on the phone answering all my concerns and questions (using his personal cell phone to do so), we had an in person consultation in his office. Dr. Welke was so kind, personable, and knowledgeable throughout the entire visit. He was wonderful with my son, and made us feel comfortable while examining him. Dr. Justin was recommended to us by our lactation consultant when our daughter was 4 weeks old after having some difficulty with breastfeeding. He was kind, caring and knowledgable during our consultation and diagnosed a "moderate" tongue and lip tie. He calmly and clearly explained the pros and cons of doing a procedure to remove the tongue and lip tie, as well as the required mouth exercises following the procedure. Dr. Welke is awesome! He did a tongue and lip tie release (frenectomy) for our 4 week old baby. We are now almost a month out, and things healed great and our baby is feeding so much better. The improvement was almost instantaneous after the procedure. Dr. Justin put us at right at ease - he is super nice, helped us really feel like we were making an informes decision for our son, and replied to all my messages during recovery when I had questions.
