I have had back pain for 35+ years and she is the worst pain management doctor I have ever encountered. You can find a better doctor than this one. Check the other reviews. Anyone who provided feedback gave her one star and one of her five stars referred to her as a he so they clearly don’t even know who she is.
My son's godmother had wires inserted into her spine to help control pain. Follow up care was non-existent. Office delayed getting her a return visit resulting in five extra days of pain. No local anesthesia was used during removal, not even a band-aid. Dr. Otchere stated that the bleeding would "stop soon." She had to fish a band-aid out of her own purse to stop the bleeding. Horrible bed-side manner and likely put her at risk of infection!
Dr. Otchere is very kind and understanding. He has a very welcoming personality. My only complaint is the front desk staff, they aren’t really consistent with getting things done. He has put a lot of effort into helping me with my pain and I’m glad that he was suggested to me.
My mother came in for a slipped disk in her spine. Had an appointment canceled by Dr Justice Otchere. All she requested was a back brace and medication for her pain. Instead the first thing he did was make an order for unrequested and unwanted shot injections for her back and said that he would issue her a back brace and pain medication. Today he insisted that he would not issue her a back brace or pain medication but that she take the injections as they are his "first line of defence".
