We had an awesome and amazing time dog mushing with Just Short of Magic! The views were spectacular! The Alaskan Huskies were very friendly and lovely! From the moment we arrived the girls at reception took care at explaining things to us, making sure we are warm enough and ready. Darren, Emily and Heidi were our mushers and they were awesome guides! You get to learn about the dogs and a lot of stuff about mushing. It was a whole lot fun. My family and I had a wonderful experience from transportation arrangement, accomodating staff up to dog mushing. The scenery while on the sled ride was truly magical. Everything was awesome. An amazing experience we’d never forget.

My family and I did both mushing school and the lead dog tour. It was so much fun and an amazing experience to meet the dogs, get to help put harnesses on the dogs and hook up the team that we got to ride with. The actual hour long ride was nothing short of magical! The people were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend this company. Best excursion in Alaska!
My husband and I did the one hour mushing experience and it was amazing. We got to visit with the dogs before we went on our ride. Eleanor and her staff are wonderful. They are very passionate about the dogs and mushing. We loved every minute and highly recommend it. Afterwards you can check out the nearby Chena hot springs.
