Fantastic mechanic. Trustworthy and knowledgeable. Love that he can take care of high end bikes and the bikes my kids ride.
Travis Evans is a great tech and fantastic custom wheel builder. I have at least 4-5 sets of custom wheels built by him and he has built up all four of my steel road bikes. As a local authorized Campy shop he is the go to guy for those who ride Campy. Check him out!
I've been riding serious bikes for 40 years and this is one of the best shops for committed cyclists anywhere. Travis takes the time to get the fit right, has an encyclopedic knowledge of componentry and, most importantly, understands the psychological connection between rider and bike.
Since Yelp is stupid and wouldn't post my review, I will do it here. I was looking for a new Jamis mountain bike and I had called around to several bike shops to see if they had it in stock. No one did, but when I called JRABS, Travis was the only one that took time to talk with me about the bike. I ended up buying it from JRABS and they have been awesome at tweaking the bike to the way I want it. I will be going to JRABS for ALL of my bike maintenance from now on!!
Been going here for 3 years. Travis always gives the best advice and very knowledgable. Coming from someone who hadn't been in a bike for years until 2 years ago and now doing triathlons. Won't go anywhere else!
