I reached out to Just Like Home Family Care with high hopes after detailed initial conversations with one of the owners, Sue. She arranged a very thorough home assessment at my mom’s house with Skip, who was assigned as her companion. We set up weekly 4-hour visits at $40/hour (+ tax). I spoke with Sue from Just Like Home and initially had a very encouraging and positive conversation regarding setting up care services for my elderly father. Sue was kind, helpful, and gave me the impression that they would be moving forward with the process. After our initial conversation, I was told there would be follow-up communication to arrange an interview/appointment, provide access to a portal, and send the necessary paperwork. Just Like Home has provided my mom with excellent support during a season when she was not managing well on her own. She had been thinking of moving in with us, but with the support of the excellent worker provided, she has been able to regain her confidence and stay in her own place. The same worker came each time, was dependable, friendly and efficient. Couldn’t ask for anyone better. Definitely recommend to others! Valerie
