My air conditioner had been straining to keep my house cool, particularly during the hotter months. I believed it needed to be repaired, but upon investigation, I was informed that the coils were entirely clogged with dust and grime. A coil cleaning was performed, and the results were dramatic! I had been dealing with uneven airflow in my home, where some rooms felt stuffy while others were perfectly fine. It turned out that the blower inside my HVAC system was clogged with dust and debris, restricting airflow. After a full blower cleaning and an air duct cleaning, the airflow throughout my home was much more balanced. I also noticed that my AC wasn’t working as hard, which should help lower my energy bills in the long run.
