I would recommend Jonathan for a carefully considered job on a period property. Jonathan recently repainted our sash windows, making repairs as he went and taking time to explain options. He made things as easy as possible - also sourcing a new glass unit for a cracked window. When Jonathan first visited, we took the opportunity to ask his advice on some damp on an external wall. We can wholeheartedly recommend Jonathan. His insight into period buildings and ability to find solutions to the problems they pose and the materials needed is outstanding. His range of skills is very wide. He works increadibly hard and the quality is well above previous decorators we have had. He found and fitted this beautiful 1930s door which has transfomed our dark hallway. We hope to have hom work on future projects.

Jonathan Monk was a real find. He repaired my rotten windows with hard wood and painted the windows, front door, porch and iron gates beautifully. He spent time helping me choose paint colours and recommended the best paint for the job. He is a true master craftsman, with many skills in period property renovation and painting. I would be happy to commission Jonathan again and his work led to several other jobs on the street.

It's only right that I put fingers to keyboard to write a review for the incredible recent renovation Jonathan has undertaken on our property. I can not speak highly enough of him and his work.
