Micromanaging. maybe it was just my case because I'm like the only colored person??? Everytime I went to a different table, boom, the cashier was aimlessly adjusting the clothes (literally just moving it around) and when I went to look at the jewelry, boom! There she was looking at me or just standing there! I looked at the incense table and boom! There she was adjusting the boxes (again moving it 1cm away) crazy. One of my favorite stores in Ashland! From crystals and perfume to jewelry and clothing and my all time favorite Papaya living products (cards, stationary, wallets etc) I always find the perfect gifts or special treat for myself. And Johanna, one of the wonderful women who work there, is always so kind and helpful! If you’re stopping through Ashland you won’t want to miss this delicious shop!
This was my first experience visiting this shop. I was excited to go in and browse all the beautiful things but was never greeted upon entering (or ever while I was there) and never got asked if I needed assistance. The young brunette working there literally just looked at me and didn't even smile or say hi. Poor customer service! I always love Jupiter and I’m so glad that it is here in town because I sure miss papaya. The clothes are phenomenal. I am really missing the housewares and other tchotchkes that Jupiter used to stock and hope that you will bring them back!. Also, Moriyah was adorable and a fabulous help- truly a perfect Jupiter gal!
