I am very disappointed by being billed "a convenience fee" when I came for a radiology test. I was not informed of this additional cost at time of scheduling, registration, or pre-procedure. When I tried several times to contact the billing department I was "cut off", placed on eternal hold, and after leaving a callback number, not called back. I did give permission to leave a message. Upon staying at Jupiter medical center and receiving my bill, payments have been made that aren't accounted for. They will take your money, and thousands of it, but not account for payment on your chart stating that you owe more than you really do. I have been at it every month with them for a year, to try to "find" the payment. Even sent over documentation of payment and nope, you guessed it, nothing. I advise you to go elsewhere to get care! The absolute worst experience delivering at this hospital back in May 2024. The nurse kicked me and my family out of the room as we had just received our food days after delivering my son via C section. We had just finished our maternity photos done by the HOSPITAL. Made us leave in 15 minutes. Thank God my husband, mom, AND boss was there to help because I was wheeled chaired out while holding my newborn. Nurses and cNA’s were hard to find at times, one night around 7:00, they made my husband lay in his poop for almost 40 minutes. Not a lot of communication between Doctors.
