It's hard to find an authentic Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. Jung's might be the only one... lol. The food is great and they're open on Christmas!
Jung has been feeding me Chinese food since I was 10 it’s always been my favorite place for Chinese food. I was happy When she moved Uptown which is close to where I live. I am at work and Chef and him don’t always have the time to cook for myself when I get home because of the late hours. We went here for my birthday dinner last night and I'm SO glad we did!! Tuesday night was dead, only 1other couple eating, so there was plenty of room and tables to choose from. OMG....EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! We had a Groupon and ordered crawfish fried rice and crab rangoon to split. And boy, was it enough! 4 ppl could eat off the fried rice dish!!! As soon as we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell of rotten fish... We ordered crab rangoon and soup for appetizers which were decent, but came out separately 🤷🏼♂️. For entrees my gf ordered Mongolian Beef and I had Gen Tso chicken. The Mongolian beef came out first and arrived at the table ice cold 🥶. Hole in the wall (meant in a good way) but well worth trying. The food is delicious.
ordered from this place while on vacation. it was the worst food I've ever tasted. I would not recommend this place at all.
